SOUTH SHETLAND ISLANDS. Diego, LU8DIP is QRV as LU1ZS from the Antarctic Base Teniente Camara on Half Moon Island, IOTA AN-010, until mid-March. Activity of late has been on 40 and 20 meters using SSB.

HAM Radio - IOTA

Luis XQ5CIE, Carlos CE6UFF, Didier F6DXE and Dago CE5COX will be active from Greenwich Island (IOTA AN-010, WW Loc. GC07FQ), South Shetland Islands, 10-25 January, 2010, as XR9JA.

They will be active on 160-6m SSB, CW, PSK31, and Satellite AO-51.

QSL via CE5JA (Radio Club de Concepcion, P.O. Box 2545, Concepcion, Chile).

All QSLs received direct please include recent SASE or 2 USD $; QSL received via bureau will be returning by the same way. All QSL will be 100% guaranteed.

NRA’s 137th Birthday Special Event Operation Nov. 17, 2008

The Yavapai Amateur Radio Club, Prescott, AZ, will operate a special event operation on Nov. 17, 2008, to celebrate the NRA’s 137th birthday. The operation will take place from 1500 – 2300 UTC (0800 – 1600 MST) on the following frequencies: 7.250, 14.250, 21.335.
