Nandi Hills Repeater Is Back Into Action

VU2POP OM Prathap has informed that the old faithful Nandi Repeater VU2RSB 145.700 (-shift ) is ON.
It has old FTR-2410 set at 5 watt output.

Old timers will remember the VU2RSB repeater activity since 1987.
It was inactive for the last 2 years for some issues and has now been brought back to life.

The other repeater active in the city (Bangalore) VU2TWO 145.650 ( - shift ) on the 23 floor of Public Utility building on MG rd kept the activity and the nets going.

The morning R5 net is on 145.700 ( -Shift ) 0700-0730 hours.
Evening R3 net is on VU2TWO ( -shift ) 2030-2100 hours.

The Repeater Society of Bangalore started in 1987 and have been maintaining & improving the rptr setup from time to time.
Bangalore society also has the UHF repeater callsign VU2RQB and Vertex UHF Rptr and they are in the process of getting the UHF duplexer , but the enormous cost of the Uhf duplexer has slowed down the project.

If you are in and around Bangalore please do check in to these Repeaters and enjoy your ham radio.
