Radio Club Offers Amateur Testing
The Runestone Radio Club of Alexandria will conduct examinations for amateur radio licensing on Tuesday, November 18.These exams are for all levels of amateur radio and will be held at Alexandria Technical College. Talk-in will be on the 146.790 repeater.
Registration will start at 5:30 p.m. and testing will begin immediately thereafter. Walk-ins are welcome.
There is a fee of $14 required to cover cost of materials.
Participants are asked to bring two forms of identification, one of which must contain a photo.
They should also have a completed 605 form. If you don’t have one, the club can furnish one. If you need assistance filling it out, the club members will help.
