Corrections / Errata / Addendum on ATS 1 Circuit | PCB Layout
Friends, OM Rakesh (VU2RAK) sat down with the circuit to verify the silk screen printing and the complete circuit diagram. He has published his response in the forum - and we would request you to verify and confirm the same, and make suitable changes as you go about constructing your rig.
Appreciate the inputs and zeal from Rakesh to share this information with all homebrewers - and publishing the content on the forum.
Here is the summary from the forum posts so far (should you have a view - please reply to the post in the forum)
- In cw delay section, just next to VFO box,on right side, below D-23/22 printed is C-90, but this is C-98 (47mfd).The actual C-90(.1mfd) is towards pin 8/9 of IC4.
- R161 printed in CW side tone section is R-159.
- R-88 is printed at 3places on board. R-88 printed on the left side of the board toward J12, is R-83, value is 2k2. 2nd R-88 left of T6 is OK, 3rd R-88 towards right side of board, near R74 PS, is R-80 and value is 1k.
- C-103(.01mfd) printed just below R-118 PS and a capacitor symbol printed between PS(R-118) and G 2 pin is c103A(.01mfd).
- Printed in cw delay/side tone section C-117 I think is C-100, and C-100 printed should be read as C-102.
If you too happen to notice anything - that may have slipped in by mistake - just logon and update the forum on ATS-1 under homebrew section. You may opt to print this information and keep it along with the SPARK magazine copy - and confirm before you solder the components on the board!
