Introduction 3 Years ago Karma: 0
Hello fellows, I am new with this group my call sign KC5FDW .
I am a retired Electronic Desgin Engineer now retired for about 10 years.

I am interested in seeing the small SSB transceiver to see if I order one,

Does any one have a schematic of the design to define a possible purchase ?.
Or where I can see it in the Web page ?.

Since I have designed equipement all my life from low power DC power supplies to to 60 GHZ, I am in the mode of buying what I would like to use,or at least to buy a kit and put it together.

Thanks

Nando

Thanks a lot for the forwarded information.
Question: Was this design done around 1995 or so ?.

Can you tell me what type of spurious and other things to know about the design.

How Much current in RX and in TX mode ?.

Has, any one in this group, done any digital RX/TX conversion like the Tyloe mixer using a PC to "massage" the audio both Paths ?.

There are articles covering such experiments .

Regards

Hi Nando,

Yes, the set was originally designed in 1995 and we have relaunched the kit, with slight modification, in memory of my fundamental VU2MMP - OM Prasad.

Rx takes around 200-300ma, while on TX it takes around 1-2 amp. depending on the output drawn from the final - IRF 530/1.

I never did it nor know of anyone doing digital RX/TX conversion on this kit
